About Us
We’re a residential building company specialising in high-quality construction across whole-house refurbishments, extensions, loft conversions, bathrooms, roofing, and everything in between. From large, complex renovations to smaller, carefully detailed projects, we bring the same level of care and attention to every home we work on.
With over 30 years’ experience in the construction and heritage sector, our approach is built on solid craftsmanship, clear communication, and long-standing relationships. In fact, many of our clients are families we’ve worked with time and again—some of whom have been with us since my father’s business first started over 50 years ago. That continuity matters to us, and we think it says a lot about how we work.
History
The owner and founder of MP Hare Ltd. learnt the trade working alongside his father more than three decades ago, and that grounding still shapes everything we do today: doing the job properly, taking pride in the details, and treating people’s homes with respect. That mindset has helped us build a reputation where almost all of our work comes through personal recommendation.

Whether we’re appointed as full project managers or working seamlessly alongside your own project manager, we’re flexible in how we support each build — always focused on keeping things organised, transparent, and stress-free.
Our team is a tight-knit group of skilled and trusted tradespeople, many of whom have worked together for years. That consistency allows us to maintain high standards on site, communicate efficiently, and deliver reliable results without the churn of unfamiliar subcontractors. We’re equally comfortable modernising period properties, working within heritage constraints, or creating contemporary living spaces that better suit modern life.
